Serving on the Supreme Court should be limited to a one-time, eight to twelve year term. This would still allow the justices to make rulings based on their genuine interpretation of the constitution without feeling pressured to campaign or cater to a base. I recognize the necessity of the court's existence. I understand that occasionally state voters have to be dragged kicking and screaming out of the dark ages in order to ensure a bare minimum of basic human rights for Americans, but honestly burn the whole fucking country down if this is how it's gonna be. I'm sick of this, I refuse to raise my daughter in a Christian caliphate where she could die from an ectopic pregnancy because five CHUD smoothbrains have a hard-on about an obviously made-up resurrection story + fear of getting infinity ouchies in the afterlife, a place that also does not exist.
